Chitrangada splitting from hubby?
The tinsel town is finding it unable to stop talking about the reported strain in terms between actress Chitrangada Singh and her better half Jyoti Randhawa. It is reported that the goergeous actress has even left her hubby’s Delhi house to permanently shift to Mumbai.
The cause of split is believed to be the strenuous schedule of the 35-year-old actress which has proved costly to her marriage. Add to this, the separation for long periods due to hectic shooting schedules has put her 13-year-old marriage with golfer Randhawa on the rocks.
Chitrangada got married in 2001, at a time when she was a struggling model and trying her luck in film. After having made a debut in Sudhir Mishra’s 2003 release Hazaaron Khwahishein Aisi, she continued to taste little success in her films.
However, she took a break from films and made a comeback with director Onir’s romantic comedy flick Sorry Bhai!. But the film bombed at the box office as it was released at the odd time during Mumbai terror attacks.
After a three-year hiatus, she starred in another Sudhir Mishra flick ‘Yeh Saali Zindagi’ in 2011, earning critical acclaim. She also appeared opposite Akshay Kumar in Desi Boyz in the same year. Since then, she has bagged numerous acting and modeling assignment, forcing her to remain in Mumbai.
Recently, there were reports of a tiff between the couple which is mainly due to the beautiful actress’ inability to give adequate attention to her husband and son Zorawar. It is also rumoured that Randhawa was not amused on seeing her darling wife doing intimate scenes with co-star Arjun Rampal in ‘Inkaar’ which released last year.
Well, all we can do is to wish Chitrangada good luck so that she doesn’t end up losing her happy family in quest for stardom.
