Jaipur: Controversies seem to have no ending for Ranveer Singh-Deepika Padukone starrer Ram Leela. After the flick got  embroiled in a row with certain groups objecting to its poster and title, a Jaipur court on Wednesday imposed a stay on the film’s poster, terming it as “obscene”.

A petitioner named Pawan Sharma had filed a case against the film in Jaipur’s Shyam Nagar Police station on Monday.

Ram Leela is a modern day adaptation of William Shakespeare’s epic love saga Romeo and Juliet. The poster depicts Ranveer and his co-star Deepika in a very intimate pose which might have irked the court. The film is slated to hit the theatres on November 15.
