First look of Gulab Gang likely to be unveiled at IIFA
Mumbai: Audience are likely to get a peek into Madhuri Dixit starrer Gulab Gang and Boman Irani’s Santa Banta at the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards, scheduled to be held at Macau this month.
Filmmaker Anubhav Sinha is likely to unveil the first look of his home production at IIFA awards.
The film directed by a debutant director Soumik Sen stars Madhuri Dixit, Juhi Chawla, Mahi Gill, Tanishtha Chaterjee and others.
Another film which will unveil its first look is Santa Banta. The film directed by Akashdeep Sabir has Boman Irani as Santa and Vir Das as Banta. It also stars Neha Dhupia, Lisa Haydon, Ram Kapoor and Johnny Lever.
"It is a dream come true to make this film with this starcast. We are happy to showcase our look of the film at IIFA," said Akashdeep.
This year IIFA will be promoting women empowerment.
"This year IIFA has taken upon itself to circulate change of women empowerment. There is violence happening against women all over the world," said veteran actress Shabana Azmi at an event.
IIFA embraces the cause of women empowerment and equality. In partnership with Tata Tea’s Jaago Re campaign, it aims to create social awakening among Indian women about the change they can bring with the true power of their vote. PTI
