Mumbai: Veteran actor Jeetendra was honoured with a hand impression tile in a function organised by UTV Stars under 'Walk of the Stars' initiative.

Actor's family members and friends were present to support him at the event. The guest list included his daughter Ekta Kapoor, who was seen capturing the precious moments in her camera, Bappi Lahiri, Jeetendra's yesteryear co-star Poonam Sinha, Prem Chopra and many more.


Actor-turned-director Rakesh Roshan also revealed a small secret about Jeetendra and said: "Jeetuji does everything openly. We are very good friends.”

Veteran actor Prem Chopra added: "He has spoilt his friends, but now he has left all that."

Jeetendra's acting career spanned from the 1960s to 1990s. His hit movies include 'Parichay', 'Dharam Veer', 'Caravan', 'Khushboo' and 'Himmatwala'.

'Walk of the Stars' is a recognition of the invaluable contributions to Indian cinema by legendary actors.
