Kirron Kher campaigns for BJP candidate
Bollywood actress Kirron Kher, who campaigned for BJP nominee from Bhoa constituency, today accused the Congress of lacking an agenda for development of Punjab.
"SAD-BJP alliance is a time-tested party and it ushered in peace and prosperity in Punjab during the last five years. Re-elect the combine for promoting development, peace and harmony in the state", said Kher in her speech. She said a wave is building up in the state in favour of SAD-BJP alliance in these elections.
"If you want corruption-free government which is also committed to development, reject Congress and relect SAD-BJP again," she urged.
Former Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister and senior BJP leader Shanta Kumar in his address said Paraksh Singh Badal has been one of the most popular and able chief ministers in the country.
He alleged that UPA government, which failed in controlling corruption and inflation, has nothing to offer to the state. Kher, who was campaigning for BJP nominee Seema Devi, asked voters to vote for SAD-BJP alliance for prosperity of the state. (PTI)
