Lara Dutta turns 34 today

Lara Dutta, the beauty of Universe, has turned 34 (19th April) today. There is no denial to the fact for the lady do posses the B square quality i.e., beauty with brains. Born to an Indian father and an Anglo-Indian mother the Actress in 1997 competed in the Annual Miss Glad rags and with no surprise won the title.
This also gave her the opportunity to represent India at Miss Intercontinental contest, grabbing again the first spot. With no stoppage, Lara Dutta was crowned as Femina Miss India Universe in 2000. The impossible was turned into possible as the Lady contested in Miss Universe and claimed the biggest honor of them all.
The Actress got the attention of the B’town biggies as Lara was showered with numerous film proposals by the filmmakers and finally worked in “Andaaz” in 2003. It was the first time when Miss Universe and Miss World did their debut together in the same movie, as Lara Dutta in the flick shared the screen with the Miss World Priyanka Chopra.
The actress winning streak continued as her performance was critically acclaimed and was honored with the Filmfare Award for he best Debut.
But thereafter Actress’ numerous flicks went cold at the box-office, besides Masti, No Entry, Bhagam Bhag, Partner, Housefull and Don 2: The king is back, going commercial hit and grossed huge profits at the box-office.
While “No Entry” made her the number one contender for the best Actress in the supporting role at IIFA Awards, so "Billu Barbe" awarded Lara the Stardust trophy for her performance in flick.
In 2011 the actress also made her debut as a Producer in the flick “Challo Dilli”, not doing too well at the Box Office. Besides all this Lara has a good hand with writing scripts and desires for same to be portrayed one day in the Indian Cinema.
The Actress is complete in her personal life as she is married to the Indian Tennis Player Mahesh Bhupati and has a baby girl with him named “Saira”.
