Priyanka to play Bengali bombshell again
New Delhi: After playing the de-glam role of Bengali girl Jhilmil in Barfi, Priyanka Chopra is all set to play a Bengali bombshell again. She will be seen in Ali Abbas Zafar's upcoming film, Gunday,opposite Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh.
The film revolves round two dons of Kolkata from the 70s essayed by Ranveer and Arjun, with Priyanka, who enacts the role of a Bengali girl Nandita, being their love interest.
Sharing her experience to play a Bong again, PC said, "Bengali girls are very beautiful and I am enjoying playing a Bengali girl in the film."
The entire cast and crew of Gunday is currently in Kolkata for shooting their film.
When asked who the biggest don on the sets was, both Arjun and Ranveer had Priyanka's name to mention.
"She is the boss of the sets. She is our madam... The biggestGundi (lady don) on the sets is Priyanka Chopra," chuckled both the actors.
Joining the banter, director Ali said, "The first day she came onto the sets, she categorically told us, 'look guys I am 30 films old'. Then Ranveer said he is four and a half film, Arjun said he is two and a half films and I said I am one and a half films."
"So from that statistics you can understand the hierarchy...," Ali quipped.
