Raveena Tandon quits ‘Bombay Velvet’
Mumbai: Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon who was all set to play a jazz singer in Anurag Kashyap’s 'Bombay Velvet' has no longer a part of his much awaited film, she says the change in the script is the reason for her exit.
'I am no longer a part of ‘Bombay Velvet’. Eveything has changed. The whole scenario of movie has changed now. I had finished shooting my part too but there were a lot of changes in the sequences… So, I told Anurag that I will not do this film. I will work with him in his next project,' Raveena said in an interview.
She also said, 'Anurag and I are very good friends and such issues don’t matter in our friendship.'
Raveena will be seen next in Onir’s film titled ‘Shab’.
'Bombay Velvet' stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Karan Johar. It will hit the screens in May.
