Reel life jitters for jail-bound Dutt
New Delhi: With only two weeks left for actor Sanjay Dutt to surrender before the court to complete his five-year sentence in the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case, the fate of his ongoing project Policegiri, it seems, hangs in balance.
After declaring in a Press conference that he will surrender when the time comes, the actor is not being able to concentrate on the sets.
Though South director KS Ravikumar’s Hindi directorial debut Policegiri is 95 per cent complete, Sanju baba is not being able to focus on his shoots and has started taking takes after takes. For one scene, an actor like Munnabhai takes 20 retakes.
The fear of going to the jail is becoming a hurdle on the way of his completing a couple of scenes left before the film is ready to release.
Not only this, sources on the sets of Policegiri reveal that the actor doesn’t even remember his dialogues properly.
