'Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster' sequel to be more menacing
Actor Neil Nitin Mukesh, who is all excited about doing the sequel of Tigmanshu Dhulia's 'Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster', says the second installment would be more "menacing".
'Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster' (September 2011), featuring Jimmy Shergill, Mahie Gill and Randeep Hooda, was produced and directed by Dhulia. To cash on success of the thriller drama, its producers have chalked out plans for a sequel. "I am excited about the sequel. I am looking forward to work with Tigmanshu...he is one of the finest directors. I hope the sequel is more menacing and scarier," Neil said.
The film did average business at the box office and Jimmy and Mahie have bagged nominations for the best actors in negative roles. In the original film, Randeep Hooda a petty goon who entered Jimmy?s princely state and dreamt of being a prince himself. Mahie took advantage of Randeep and deceived Jimmy.
There is a buzz in B-town that in the sequel, Jimmy and Mahie will continue to reprise their roles, while Neil will essay the role of a prince and his character will have grey shades. Asked about his role, Neil declined to divulge any details. PTI
